Who I am

I’m Sean. I was born in March of 1982. I’m a PhD student who researches consumer behavior and decision-making, but I also have a degree in nuclear engineering and an MBA. I’ve worked as a nuclear engineer and as a consultant for lots of different sorts of companies and organizations (e.g., Coca-Cola Shanghai, the DOE, Newell Rubbermaid, Mitsubishi Nuclear). I’ve also dabbled in various entrepreneurial things like real estate (I owned a couple houses when I was 22), and I’m currently an active stock and options trader. I’m going to be a business professor when I grow up.

I like cognac, rock and roll, wine, and travel. I’ve been to 23 other countries on 4 continents, and my favorite cities are Berlin, Hong Kong, and Shanghai. Here I am not drinking cognac or wine in Munich, Germany, in 2009.

And here I am at Delos near Mykonos in Greece in 2011.
